Sheridan Commission Appoints Appraisers in Penrose County Road Issue

Sheridan County’s Commissioners have appointed three appraisers to review the establishment of Penrose County Road.

At the commission’s last meeting, County Engineer Ken Muller explained why the appraisers were needed.

Two residents chose to speak to the commission about the issue.

One hoped the commission would appoint people familiar with Story and the Story real estate market to retain its unique aesthetics, and another expressed her desire to have landowners there work with the county to have a voice in shaping how the establishment of a county road continues moving forward.

Commissioner Nick Siddle made a motion to appoint three people as appraisers.

The commission voted to approve those nominated.
