Pat BlairSheridan County School District 2 is starting to make plans for summer school, but when that will happen and how remains uncertain at this time.
Craig Dougherty, who’s the district superintendent, said the district is hoping to have an in-person summer school as much as possible.
But, he said, the district needs to wait before deciding on a date for summer school to start.
He said the district probably won’t have the information needed to decide on dates for the school until June.
In the meantime, the school district, which maintains schools in the city of Sheridan and Story Elementary, will finish this regular school year with instruction taught primarily through virtual classes.
