Seliena Parker, recycling and solid waste coordinator at the Sheridan Landfill, explains where residents can drop off their trees to be recycled.
She said they have been doing the Christmas Tree Recycling for about 20 years. Trees are currently chipped up for compost. At one time a group would take the trees to be used for fish habitat, but they will no longer be doing that this year.

Trees can also be recycled at the Sheridan Community Landfill, and it is free to recycle the trees.
