Johnson County Fair Kicks Off Friday

The 2025 Johnson County Fair and Rodeo in Buffalo will kick off Friday and will run through Sunday, August 3.

Scheduled on Friday is the Fabric and Fashion judging and the Make-it-With-Wool contest.

Saturday has Ranch Sorting, and Sunday has the Dog Show, Horse Show and the acceptance of the Open Class Exhibits, as well as the dog races on the track in the arena, and the FFA exhibits are due.

Monday at the fair is the Horse Show, Cat Show, Pocket Pets judging, and Open Class judging.

Tuesday is Sheep Day at the fair; Wednesday is Swine Day; Thursday is Beef Day; Friday is the Youth Rodeo; and the Fair and Rodeo Parade is Saturday, August 2 with the theme of “Stars, Stripes, and Spurs.”
