Ron RichterAn amendment to the design contract for the City of Sheridan Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Improvements Project was recently considered by the Sheridan City Council. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
A design contract in the amount of $298,079 to have Burns and McDonnell go to a 30 percent design level for the City of Sheridan Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project was approved by the City Council in May. An amendment to that original contract was recently given approval by the Council. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts said that Burns and McDonnell is complete with the 30 percent design of the project and the amendment allows for the firm to go to a 60 percent design of the project.
The contract amendment the City Council approved with Burns and McDonnell was in the amount of $432,010.
