Aaron PalmerDuring the recent hospital board meeting at the Johnson County Healthcare Center, Clinic Manager Heidi Huntley gave the latest on the walk-in clinic and patient numbers during the month of March.
Huntley said patient visits numbered 1,245 with 36 as newly-established patients.
Same-day visits are similar to last year, although she said walk-in visits are increasing, and explained why.
CEO Luke Senden explained how the JCHC will be marketing the walk-in clinic.
Huntley added that those in the clinic have also been letting patients know through word-of-mouth about the walk-in clinic when they are in for regular visits with their physicians.
