Buffalo Chamber President Updates City Council

Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Board President Amber Eggers gave a brief update to the Buffalo City Council at their lat meeting to tell them of upcoming plans involving the chamber and its members.

Eggers said she met with County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly and will offer a meeting to plan for emergency situations.

Eggers also said shehas met with the Johnson County Tourism Association (JCTA) and will be meeting with JOCO First to determine what the three entities do and educate the community on what they each do.

She said the chamber will be doing some self-evaluation as well.

Eggers also told the council that the chamber will be working on their application for One-Percent Funds, which is due at the end of February.
