Jo Co Commission Approves Letter to Securities Commission

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved Chairman Bill Novotny to draft and send a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission in opposition to a proposed rules change that could adversely affect Wyoming.

Novotny and County Deputy Attorney Barry Crago explained further.

According to Novotny, by submitting the letter it will allow the county to provide public comment on the rules the SEC is considering.

Once rules are adopted, then there may be legislation in opposition to them.
