Jo Co Commission OK’s Requests for Fire & Ice Festival

Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved requests from the TA Ranch for their Fire & Ice Festival that is scheduled for this Saturday at the ranch.

Jennifer McCormick, representing the ranch and the festival, spoke to the commission at their meeting this week to make the requests.

McCormick asked if the commission would approve the use of the parking lot for pickup, and allow the sign, as well as the use of county barriers for the event.

She detailed what will be happening at the ranch this weekend.

Saturday’s event will feature Nordic games, archery, ice carving, food and drink, and a polar plunge.
