Buffalo’s City Council has voted to make a re-appointment to a local board.

During their regular meeting Tuesday evening, the council voted to approve Mayor Shane Schrader’s recommendation to re-appoint Rick Myer to another 3-year term on the Buffalo Planning & Zoning Commission Board.

Myer currently serves on the board as chairman, and will now serve another term retroactively effective from June 1, 2023.

The council also approved a new annual contract with the Buffalo Athletic Club (BAC), as discussed by Mayor Schrader.

The contract allows city employees to use the BAC facility and equipment for the monthly fee.

The council accepted the contract on a split vote, with Councilman Mike Madden and Councilwoman Myra Camino voting against.

Mayor Schrader cast the deciding vote in favor.
