Buffalo Road Projects to Bid in April
The City of Buffalo has many streets that need attention, but three of them are a priority because of their rough shape as well as infrastructure problems that also need to be addressed.
A 1% special purpose tax was approved by voters in Buffalo last year, which will pay for the work that needs done on Fetterman Street, Burritt Avenue, and Flatiron Drive.
Mayor Shane Shrader explains more about the projects that will go to bid next month.
Costs and the projected finish dates will be clearer after the bids are opened next month, according to the mayor.
The projects will include paving and infrastructure work, and Flatiron is expected to be done in concrete instead of pavement, due to the industry located in the area.
