Extension Granted

The Sheridan City Council approved a resolution at their meeting this week that extends the parked term for retail liquor license #2 that is held by Railroad Grill, LLC. The Council felt that there were enough examples of extraordinary circumstances impacting completion of the premises to warrant a 120-day extension. Railroad Grill, LLC Owner Tom Thompson had requested only a 90-day extension, but the Council felt that it would be more prudent to grant the additional 30 days to the extension. Thompson, while addressing the Council, said that a shortage of concrete and skilled labor that began in the summer of 2018 was a significant factor in falling behind schedule.

Thompson said that the goal is to have the building operational by early summer.
