TRVCC Zombie 5K and Fall Festival This Saturday
Tongue River Valley Community Center (TRVCC) Executive Director Carly Sannon and Program Director Chad Aksmit appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to announce the inaugural TVCC Fall Festival.
The day will begin with a 5K Zombie Color Run at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in Dayton. Akmist said the zombies will use colored paint in powered form to mark their potential prey. Pre-registration for the run is $25 and $30 the day of the event.

The inaugural Fall Festival will be 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at their Dayton facility, located at 1100 Main St. in Dayton.

The community event promises family-friendly fun including hay rides, free games, live music, walking tacos, and more entertaining activities for all ages.
As a local nonprofit hub for wellness, social programming, and community connection, TRVCC aims through this festival to bring neighbors together and highlight the breadth of its services beyond just events. This fundraiser will help with activities at the TRVCC from after-school programs to facility rentals and community senior programs.
