Science Kids classes have four open seats available
Science Kids is a 501(c)3 based out of Sheridan, dedicated to getting kids outside having fun and learning. The organization was founded in 2009, to provide the youth of Northern Wyoming with outdoor, science-education opportunities.
During the summer season, Science Kids host classes that take children on adventures that explore natural sciences through hands-on learning. These courses are divided into age groups, 6-8 years and 9-11 years old.
The classes for 6-8 year old classes are sold out, both in Sheridan and in Buffalo.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of Science Kids, Dr. Julie Reider said parents and guardians should still contact Science Kids if they have a child they would like in the 6-8 classes.

Four seats are left for the 9-11 year old classes – two remain open in Nature in Focus and two in Science of Nutrition. Nature in Focus begins Monday June 9.
New for 2025, Science Kids offers classes for kids aged 12-14 years. Many seats remain open for these classes that will teach and explore Solar Science, Environmental Chemistry, Dinosaur Quarry Dig and the Art of Birding.
Tuition is $130 for a four-day class. These classes represent 20 hours of fun and learning for kids. Science Kids also still has funds to help support four more students on scholarships.
