City of Buffalo Awards Klondike Overlay Project
During their regular meeting this week the Buffalo City Council voted to accept a bid on the Klondike Drive Overlay Project.
Two bids were presented to the city for pavement overlay on the portion of Klondike Drive owned by the city from Yukon Lane to Fullerton Avenue.
The bid accepted by the city was from Simon Construction for $394,104.
The city rejected earlier bids from the bid opening on June 22nd, receiving one from Simon Construction for about $421,000 and another from Croell, Inc. for roughly $287,000.
The engineer’s estimate on the project was $275,000 according to Hook.
The city chose to re-bid the project and awarded it to Simon at the meeting.
