Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 17, 1921.
The Sheridan Commercial Club has arranged a big free program, including a band concert, athletic carnival, slight-of-hand features and community singing, at the armory tonight as part of the Optimist Week observance here.
Joe M. Williams of Sheridan and Dan Allen of Acme miraculously escaped from death this morning when the Dodge truck of Bob’s Furniture Store of Sheridan, in which they were riding was struck and totally demolished by the Burlington passenger Train 42 at the railroad crossing just north of the company’s depot in Dietz.
Miss Lellia B. Moore, home demonstrator of the Sheridan County Farm Bureau, is conducting a dress form making class in the home of Mrs. C. C. Trader in Ranchester today.
