Pat BlairAs of Thursday morning, Campbell County has nine new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases since Saturday, according to Campbell County Public Health.
Saturday’s case was a teenage girl. Other cases confirmed include an adult male in his 60s, two adult males and a female, all in their 20s and an adult female in her 40s. Demographics weren’t available on the ninth case.
The new cases raise Campbell County’s total lab-confirmed case count to 42. According to public health authorities, 28 of those have recovered, leaving 14 active cases in the county.
The nine new cases are currently quarantined in their respective homes.
Public Health authorities are strongly encouraging residents to wear face masks when six feet of physical separation can’t be maintained in public areas.
