Jentel Presents returns Feb. 24 at Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library

The Jentel Artist Residency Program has announced its second Jentel Presents event of the year Tuesday, Feb. 24, inviting the public to meet the program’s newest cohort of artists and experience a sampling of their creative work.

Jentel Presents offers artists-in-residence the opportunity to share visual art, writing and occasionally music with the Sheridan community. The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Inner Circle of the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library. Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.

This month’s presenters include mixed-media artist Rina Dweck of New York City; multidisciplinary visual artist Deb Rosenbaum of Denver; multidisciplinary visual artist Noémie Jennifer Bonnet of Newburgh, New York; playwright Andrew Creech of Seattle; writer Jessica Kosti of Toronto, Canada; and composer Karim Shuquem of Los Angeles. 

Rosenbaum also teaches at the Art Students League of Denver and the Denver Botanic Gardens. Bonnet was born in France and moved to the United States at age 5. Creech is an avid collector of physical media, including DVDs, Blu-rays and vinyl. Kosti is originally from Wisconsin and previously worked as an environmental journalist in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. 

Jentel Presents is free and open to the public.
