Tongue River at Big Horn Basketball: Round 1 between Big Horn and Tongue River on the basketball court yesterday was a sweep for BH.
The Lady Rams were up 18-3 after 1 quarter, then watched the Lady Eagles come back to tie the score at 31, before recovering to win 49-47.
The Big Horn girls would snap a 14-game skid vs. their rivals and it’s their first win vs. TR since January of 2020.
The boys game was pretty one sided as BH would prevail 70-24.
The highlight of the game was when Willeon Pease buried a shot from behind half court at the end of the first quarter for the Eagles.

Both Big Horn and Tongue River have this weekend off from competition.
Sheridan HS Boys and Girls Basketball: Sheridan will start 4A East conference play with games today and tomorrow at Cheyenne East and at Cheyenne Central.
On the boys side, last year was the first time since 1971 that not one team from Cheyenne qualified for the state tournament.
Broncs Head Coach Jeff Martini says things can change when conference play starts, and the Cheyenne teams have something to prove this year.
On the girls side, Cheyenne East didn’t qualify for the state tournament last year, while Cheyenne Central are the defending 4A State Champs.
Aaron Ligocki will have the LIVE radio play-by-play call of both games today and tomorrow on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
Arvada-Clearmont/Buffalo/Kaycee HS Basketball: The Arvada-Clearmont boys and girls will play 2 games today and 1 tomorrow at the Little 6 Invitational in Ten Sleep.
Both genders from Buffalo play at Douglas today and at home vs. Rawlins tomorrow.
Kaycee split games yesterday at Casper Christian, with the girls picking up the win.
Both the Buckaroos and Lady Bucs are home today vs. Hulett and at home tomorrow vs. Rock River.
Sheridan/Johnson County HS Wrestling: Sheridan was at home last night for a dual vs. Natrona County.
Results will be posted when we get them.
The Sheridan girls are scheduled to compete today and tomorrow at Natrona County.
Both genders from Tongue River will be at Shoshoni, while both teams from Buffalo will compete at Wind River.
Sheridan/Buffalo HS Wrestling: Sheridan is scheduled to compete today and tomorrow at Laramie, while Buffalo is at the Sublette Invitational taking place at Big Piney.
The State Meet is about 1 month away.
Sheridan/Johnson County Indoor Track and Field: The Indoor Track and Field season is scheduled to start today.
All Sheridan County High School teams as well as Buffalo will compete in Gillette starting at 10am.
The Sheridan boys are the 2-time defending 4A State Champs and have won 6 of the last 7 state titles.
Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks play their first home games of the 2026 calendar year today and tomorrow against Bozeman.
The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:30pm both days.
After this weekend, there are only 4 home games left on the regular season schedule.
University of Wyoming Men’s and Women’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys are back in action tomorrow as the team visits Fresno State.
Tip off is scheduled for 5pm and you can hear the game LIVE on AM 1410 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
The Wyoming Cowgirls are at home tomorrow against Air Force.
Tip off for that game is scheduled for 2pm.
Denver Broncos Playoff Football: The Denver Broncos are back in action after a week off.
The top seed in the AFC playoffs will host former University of Wyoming Quarterback Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs tomorrow.
Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30pm and you can hear the game LIVE on Fox Sports 106.3 FM.
