Wyoming loves the library

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan County Library System Community Engagement Manager Cassie Stone said she’s proud to live in the Cowboy State, which shows the highest numbers of library interaction per capita.

Wyoming loves its libraries and it shows according to Stone.

In 2022, Wyoming had the highest number of library visits per capita in the United States, with 3.82 visits per person. At a close second place was Washington D.C. with 3.78 visits per person. The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) collected the data for all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
