Kelten Crow Of Sheridan HS To Wrestle At Western Wyoming Community College

A 3-time Wyoming High School State Champion Wrestler from Sheridan High School, is going to wrestle for a team that’s had a lot of recent national championship exposure.
Kelten Crow has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs.
He won state titles in his freshman (138 pounds), sophomore (160 pounds) and senior seasons (175 pounds), and finished 4th as a junior (157 pounds).
In his senior season, Crow went undefeated and put together a career record of 169-29.
He says it was that undefeated season that made him choose wrestling over football and soccer and adds the coaching staff at Western Wyo was impressed with the way he bounced back after coming up short in his junior season.
“I think they saw that I put in through the last off-season. My junior year I felt short and they saw that this year, things have changed. I think they know that I’m the guy. I just know that the competition is going to be better, even just through the wrestling room there, just wrestling with those guys will get me better. My goal at the Junior College level is to All-American so whatever it takes to All-American, if it’s that 2 years and I’m done, I’ll be fine with being done, but if I need to go somewhere else and get that All-American status then I will do that.”
Crow is undecided on a major.
The Western Wyoming wrestling team placed 3rd at this year’s NJCAA National Championship Tournament, and were National Champions in each of the 2 years prior to this year.
