A left handed pitcher for the Sheridan Troopers Legion Baseball team, will pitch for the closest college team to the Sheridan area.

Ethan Evans, who is also a senior at Sheridan High School, has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana.

Last year he was an all-conference selection for the Sheridan Jets at the A-Level.

Evans explains what he has to offer to the Pioneers.

“My ball moves a lot, which will be really helpful and just my potential and that’s kind of what they’re looking for right now is just potential and protectability. Just being confident on the mound and being left-handed and just knowing that, when you go out there your team has got your back and that it might be your day everyday, but just try to make it the best you can each time out there.”

Evans adds he plans to major in education and become a history teacher.
