Bridger Peldo Of Sheridan HS To Play Football At Northern State Univ.: On the first day of the college football signing period, one Sheridan HS Senior signed on the line and will play closer to some of his family.

Bridger Peldo has signed a written offer of athletic aid to compete at Northern State University, located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

The offensive guard says he had been considering other offers from Montana Tech, Dickinson State, Rocky Mountain College and a number of NAIA schools, but adds he signed with the Wolves, because he liked the atmosphere of both the team and the town.

Peldo says he is considering majoring in business and finance.

The Wolves are a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and went 6-5 this past season.


University of Wyoming Football: The Wyoming Cowboys have announced 19 student-athletes have signed to wear the brown and gold.

Fifteen of those are transfers and the other 4 are high school players.

UW signed 22 players in the early signing period back in December, including Campbell County High School quarterback Mason Drube.

The first game of the 2025 season is on Thursday, August 28th at Akron and the home opener is on Saturday, September 6th vs. Northern Iowa.


Sheridan County HS Basketball: Tonight is Round 2 between Tongue River and Big Horn.

Varsity games at BH are scheduled to begin at 6:30 and 8pm.

TR also plays tomorrow at Rocky Mountain and are at home on Saturday vs. Sundance.

The Rams and Lady Rams play again tomorrow at 1A Southeast.

Sheridan is on the road this weekend against Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central.

Arvada-Clearmont is at home tomorrow vs. Casper Christian and then play at Midwest on Saturday.


Sheridan HS Wrestling: Sheridan is now in the dual portion of their schedule.

The Broncs and Lady Broncs will compete tonight at Campbell County.

The girls go first at 6 o’clock and the boys will follow.

Tomorrow Sheridan is at home for a pair of duals.

Cheyenne East is up first at 3pm and then the dual vs. Cheyenne Central starts at 5 o’clock.


Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won at home last night vs. New Orleans 144-119.

The Nuggets next play tonight at home vs. Orlando, starting at 7 o’clock.
