Sheridan HS Wrestling: The Sheridan High School Wrestling team will host a dual against Cody.

The varsity starts at 5pm.

Tongue River/Big Horn/Arvada-Clearmont HS Basketball: Tonight is Round 1 between Big Horn and Tongue River.

The girls game tips off in Dayton starting at 6:30pm and the boys game will follow.

Arvada-Clearmont is hosting the Little 6 Invitational tomorrow and Saturday.

Tomorrow the boys play Ten Sleep and Dubois while the girls play Midwest and Dubois.

On Saturday, the Panthers go up against Meeteetse, while the Lady Panthers play Casper Christian.

Sheridan HS Basketball: The Broncs and Lady Broncs start 4A East Conference play tomorrow at home vs. Cheyenne East, and host Cheyenne Central on Saturday.

On the boys side, East eliminated Sheridan in last year’s regional tournament, while Central is the defending 4A State Champs.

Junior Nate Miner says he’s motivated for this weekend.

Tip off Friday is scheduled for 5:30pm, with the girls game first.

Saturday’s games start at 11:30am.

University of Wyoming Basketball: Despite not making a field goal in the last 2 minutes and 45 seconds of the game, the Wyoming Cowgirls were able to hang on and win at home last night vs. Nevada 66-61.

44 of their points came in the paint, which helped the cause.

Allyson Fertig had a double-double in the game with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

Tess Barnes contributed with 13 points and Malene Pedersen put in 12.

UW is now 10-7 on the season, with a 4-1 record in the Mountain West Conference.

Up next is a Sunday game at UNLV.

The Lady Rebels are the 3-time defending conference tournament champs.

Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets lost last night at home vs. Houston 128-108.

The Nuggets next play tomorrow at Miami.
