Sheridan Hawks Junior Hockey: The Sheridan Hawks won yesterday in their final game of the NA3HL Showcase Event in Minnesota, by defeating Norwich, Connecticut 7-3.
Vincent Leaf had a hat trick in that game.
Sheridan will have the rest of this week and all of next week off as part of the holiday break.
The team is back in action on Friday and Saturday, January 3rd and 4th at home vs. Butte.
When play resumes, the Hawks will be in a very home friendly portion of their schedule, as the team will play their next 10 games at the M&M Center, and don’t have to make any more road trips to Montana until the playoffs, which isn’t until March.
University Of Wyoming Basketball: The Wyoming Cowgirls lost last night at Creighton, 76-60.
UW was only down by 3 going into the 4th quarter, but then the Lady Blue Jays went on a 19-to-8 run to pull away.

Denver Broncos Football: The Denver Broncos are on the brink of making the playoffs, for the first time since they won the Super Bowl, almost 9 years ago.

A win would secure a wild card spot and there would still be 2 more games for seeding purposes.
If the Broncos lose tomorrow, they can also get in the playoffs, provided Indianapolis, Miami and Cincinnati all lose on Sunday.
Denver lost at home vs. the Chargers 23-16 about 2 months ago.
