Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 4, 1920.
The census return for Sheridan, as announced in Washington last night, is a population of 9,175. That’s an increase of over 760 people since 1910.
R. G. Diefenderfer returned this afternoon from Cheyenne, where he presented arguments in the supreme court in support of Judge J. H. Burgess’ ruling that the search and seizure clause of the state prohibition law is unconstitutional.
A 4-year-old Sheridan miss voiced her disapproval today of the custom of featuring eggs in the Easter menu. She dislikes eggs and wondered instead why hens can’t lay bananas.
