Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on April 2, 1920.
Billy, the only dog in the world that received the Croix de Guerre for conspicuous service in the air during the war, is in Sheridan. He arrived yesterday afternoon in the company of his master, Major F. S. Judson of St. Paul, Minn., who is one of the great aviator heroes of the war.
There has been a great slump in the demand for ouija boards since newspapers started carrying stories of ouija insanity. The ouija board business was going so strong in Sheridan up until that time that stores found it impossible to keep them in stock.
John W. Smith has placed a patent to a homestead on file in the county clerk’s office.
