Love Shouldn’t Hurt is a vital fundraiser for the Sheridan Advocacy and Resource Center. Executive Director Yvonne Swanson and her team rescue and aid victims of domestic abuse. They also advise victims of violent crime. They are advocates for anyone who may feel they do not have voice in the legal system.

The Advocacy and Resource Center’s 7th annual fundraising event Love Shouldn’t Hurt 2024 featuring The Fun Pianos dueling pianos and food by Bino’s will be held at the Kalif Shrine Center beginning at 6 p.m. Feb. 16.

According to Swanson, the funds raised during this event are used to aid victims of domestic violence.

According to Swanson, negative situations tend to gain more attention than positive ones. The team at the center uses this night as a way to celebrate positive relationships. This celebration, in conjunction with the Fun Dueling Pianos, creates such a fun experience, they have decided to add another hour to Love Shouldn’t Hurt 2024.
