Investigators are trying to determine the cause of death of a woman who was found deceased inside a vehicle near Old Faithful, within Yellowstone National Park.
According to a media release, sometime Saturday evening (May 13th), Park Rangers responded to an incident on Craig Pass, which is about 3 miles south of Old Faithful.
When they arrived on scene, they observed a single vehicle that had been driven into a snowbank.
The unidentified deceased female was inside the vehicle and a male was standing outside.
He was later arrested for drug possession and other traffic-related charges.
The road between Old Faithful and West Thumb had opened for the summer traveling season back on Friday, but had to be re-closed for about 24 hours, so investigators could process the scene.
