Weekend Sports Wrap up

BRONC WRESTLING – The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers swept all four duals in Cheyenne beating East, Central, South and Laramie

This week the Broncs will finish their 4A East dual schedule at Campbell County Thursday and at home vs. Thunder Basin Friday, that dual will end the regular season, they will have that dual in main gym at the high school, JV matches start at 6:00.

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams split weekend games, both teams dropped close games against Cheyenne East Friday and came back Saturday with great effort and picked up wins against Cheyenne Central.

Lady Broncs Head coach Ryan Sullivan said they Lady Broncs played a great game Saturday.

This week they join the Broncs for road games at Cheyenne South and Laramie.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Martini says the Broncs looked more comfortable on the court in Saturday’s victory.

And they expect good challenges from south and Laramie this weekend.

TONGUE RIVER BASKETBALL – The Tongue River basketball teams won three out of four over the weekend the Lady Eagles beat Rocky Mountain and lost in double overtime at home against Sundance, the Eagles won both after losing at Big Horn Thursday night.

BIG HORN BASKETBALL – The Big Horn Rams and Lady Rams split games at Riverside Saturday the Rams won big while the Lady Rams lost that non conference game.

SWIMMING / DIVING – Sheridan Bronc swimmers and divers finished 2nd at their conference meet, full results can been seen on the sports page at sheridanmedia.com.

TRACK – Indoor track teams were in Gillette Friday those results can be seen on the sports page at sheridanmedia,com.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks hockey team split games with the Butte Cobras losing 8-6 Friday night and coming back to win Saturday 6-3.

The Hawks host games with Bozeman, Montana this weekend game times Friday and Saturday are at 7:30.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys got drilled at San Jose state 84-64 Saturday night, this week they host UNLV Wednesday night and play at Boise state Saturday.
