Resource Allocation Approved for 2023 WYO Winter Rodeo

An allocation for City of Sheridan staff and resources to participate in the operations and aid for the 2023 WYO Winter Rodeo in an amount not to exceed $5,000 in personnel, fuel, and equipment was recently approved by the Sheridan City Council. City Public Works Director Hanns Mercer says the request was substantially lower this year because of the skijoring event being moved to the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

Sheridan County Travel and Tourism Director Shawn Parker announced in November that the 2023 WYO Winter Rodeo would be moving to the fairgrounds and that the skijoring event is scheduled for Saturday, February 18 and a schedule of other events would be finalized and released soon.
