Sheridan Wrestlers 3rd; Tongue River 15th At 2022 State Meet

The season has ended and 15 high school wrestlers from Sheridan County are among the best in their weight classes.

Sheridan:

The Broncs placed 3rd team in the 4A Standings, missing 2nd place by 1 point and had 1 state champion.

Sophomore Dane Steel won the state championship at the 4A 152 pound level.

That got him all-state honors along with Kolten Powers (120) and Colson Coon (170) who were runners-up in their respective weight classes.

The Broncs also had 3 wrestlers finish in 3rd, 1 in 4th, 3 in 5th and 2 in 6th.

Tongue River:

The Eagles finished tied for 15th with Hulett in Class 2A.

TR had 1 wrestler place 4th, 1 in 5th and 1 in 6th.
