Bronc Football Home Tomorrow / Tongue River Football Finds an Opponent / Big Horn Football Opens Tomorrow at Lovell

SHS ACTIVITIES / SPORTS – Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says as they move ahead with sports and activities the students at Sheridan high school handle the situation well with having to wear face coverings he said they did it last year and the students will do it again this year as long as they get to compete.

BRONC FOOTBALL – The Bronc football team will host Cheyenne South tomorrow night we will have it live for you on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM the First Federal bank and trust pregame show starts at 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00.

Broncs Head coach Jeff Mowry says getting game tape from last week’s game was big for the Broncs.

The Broncs put up 57 points last week but Mowry says there was plenty for the team to work on this week.

And finally today they want to see the players use that information to be even better tomorrow night.

RAMS FOOTBALL – The Big Horn Rams season opener will be over in the Big Horn Basin at Lovell tomorrow.

EAGLES FOOTBALL – The Tongue River home game with Thermopolis was canceled Monday but the Eagles found and opponent for their season opener they will play the Sheridan JV’s Saturday morning in Dayton at 10:00

Sheridan high school will welcome the game for their JV’s as they have had two teams opt out of games because of their own COVID issues. last week it was Billings Skyview and this week it was Riverton.

COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming football Cowboys open their season at home a against Montana state Saturday afternoon pregame starts at 1:00 with kickoff at 2:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.

VOLLEYBALL – Our Sheridan county high school volleyball teams are on the road this week playing tournaments the Lady Broncs will be in Gillette.

GO;F – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers tee it up in Buffalo today.

SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers host a meet with Buffalo Saturday.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams head to Cheyenne for matches tomorrow and East and Central they will play at Torrington Saturday

X-COUNTRY – The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country runners compete at a meet in Spearfish, South Dakota tomorrow.

    I wonder if the Football teams will practice “social distancing” as a measure to prevent Covid? I am sure they will of course wear masks as well. Hate to spread this from around the State…… Save the kids?
