Fall sports start up information for Sheridan high school
Football –practice starts today 9-12 grade 7 am with a second practice for 10-12 grade at 4:30 pm
Tennis – practice starts Monday Aug 9th 8-10 am and 4-6:30 pm
Golf – parent meeting Wednesday Aug 11th at 5:30 pm
practice starts today Aug 9th at 1 pm @ Kendrick golf course
Cross Country – practice starts Aug 16th 6:30-8:30 am, 6-7 pm. meet on the front lawn at SHS.
Volleyball – practice starts Monday Aug 16th, 8 am and 4 pm in the SHS gym
Girls swim – practice starts Aug 16th 4-6 pm @ the SHS pool
Cheer team meet the coach – August 10th at 6 pm in the SHS cafeteria, practice info will be shared at that time
Booster club bbq and fall parent meeting @ SHS Monday Aug 23rd-bbq @ 5:30, parent meeting at 7 pm
BRONC FOOTBALL – The Bronc football team held their player / parent meeting at Sheridan high school last night.
The Broncs open practice for the new season today, Head coach Jeff Mowry says their mountain leadership camp went well.
And last night the players presented all that information to the rest of the team and all the parents.
The Broncs open the season on the 27th at Laramie.
AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – The American Legion Northwest regional baseball tournament concluded in Gillette Sunday Idaho Falls, Idaho took the regional title with a 9-3 win over Helena, Montana. Idaho Falls advances to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina
ROCKIES BASEBALL – C.J. Cron collected a career-high seven rbis while homering twice, including a grand slam in the Rockies’ 13-8 thumping of the Marlins.
Connor Joe went deep twice, including the first pinch-hit home run of his career Dom Nunez and Sam Hilliard also connected to help Colorado complete a three-game sweep.
The Rockies are off today and open a road series at Houston tomorrow night.
