Troopers Split Four Games Over the Weekend / Montana Sweeps 2021 All-Star Basketball / Rockies fall at Cincy

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers split four home games over the weekend they dropped to close game with a team from Fargo, North Dakota 6-4 and 5-4 Friday night then came back with a sweep Saturday over the 406 Flyers 7-6 and 12-7.

Now they head out on the road for games in Cheyenne and Laramie with double headers on Thursday and Friday, Head coach Ben Phillips says it’s more conference action against two very good teams and just what the Troops need.

Then it’s a quick turn around as they come back to Sheridan for home games with Cody Sunday at Thorne-Rider stadium that double header will start at one o’clock.

WYOMING / MONTANA ALL-STAR HOOPS – The 2021 Wyoming / Montana high school all star basketball series went to the Montana teams this year.

Montana won both games in Sheridan Friday both games were tight and entertaining but Saturday’s games were not competitive as the Wyoming All-Stars got blasted.

The Montana girls won Friday 55-52 and Saturday drilled the Wyoming All-Stars 71-39.

The boys games this year went pretty much the same with Montana winning in Sheridan in a Shoot out 109-104, Saturday was a nightmare for the Wyoming All-Stars as they fell 110-71.

BIG HORN MOUNTAIN TRAIL RUN – The 2021 Big Horn Mountain Trail Run is this week registration starts Thursday evening with the 100 milers starting their race Friday the three shorter distances all start Saturday.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost at Cincinnati 6-2 Sunday afternoon tonight they open a home series with San Diego game time tonight is 6:40 you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
