Broncs and Lady Broncs Prep for State Tournament / Cowgirls Play for the MWC Title Tonight / Pokes Open the MWC Tournament This Afternoon

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan high school basketball teams will open up the state tournament in Casper Friday the Lady Broncs face number one seed Natrona county in the first round the Broncs take on Riverton,

We will have both games live for you Friday on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM the Lady Broncs play NC at the events center at 10:30 the Broncs and Wolverines go at 1:30 at Casper college.

The Lady Broncs for the 2nd straight week will try for the upset in the first round just like last Thursday when they knocked Campbell county out of the regional tournament, here’s Head coach Ryan Sullivan.

The Broncs will be taking on a team they beat this season back in December and Head coach Jeff Martini talks about getting through the first game jitters and settling into the game.

COWGIRL BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls advanced to the MWC tournament championship game with a 53-38 win over Boise state last night they take on Fresno state in the title game tonight the game will tip at 9:00.

COWBOY BASKETBALL – The Wyoming basketball Cowboys open the men’s Mountain West tournament this afternoon against San Jose state the game will start at noon on KWYO and 106.9 FM.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks look to extend their 32 game winning streak this weekend as they get back on the home ice against Missoula, Montana.
