Sheridan College Drops Athletics / Troopers fall in Tourney Opener in Billings

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers dropped a tough decision in the opening game of a tournament in Billings Thursday the Troops took on the Great Falls, Montana Chargers, the teams were tied at 1-1 going into the final inning the Chargers were able to push across the winning run in their final at bat to win the game 2-1.

The Troopers are 18-7 and continue play in Billings today they play Rocky Mountain from Fort Collins, Colorado tomorrow they will play a team from Idaho Falls, Idaho with bracket play set to start Sunday.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE – The Northern Wyoming community college district is set to eliminate all athletics at Sheridan college and also at Gillette college, the rodeo programs will continue, the cuts come with others for the college district.
