Sheridan HS Football: Sometimes you don’t know if an opponent will try something different, when you play them the second time in one season but the Sheridan High School football team decided to stir the pot before Kelly Walsh could.

On their first offensive play from scrimmage, Andrew Adams connected with Gauge Rodgers on a 51 yard touchdown play for the Broncs.

While Sheridan has been more of a running team this season, Head Coach Jeff Mowry says it was good to catch the opposition off guard some.

The Broncs host Cheyenne Central in the 4A semifinals this Friday, starting at 6pm.

Big Horn HS Football: Although Big Horn shutout Cokeville last week, the Rams did have a couple of very difficult challenges to overcome in the second half.

Late in the game, the opposition drove down to the 3 yard line, but the defense was able to hold, to preserve the shutout.

Before that, BH put together a 13-play, 99-yard touchdown drive in the late 3rd and early 4th quarters, to put the final nail in the coffin, scoring wise.

Junior Bridger Doke says something like that may be hard to do at any level, but his team was ready for it.
