There was a lot of competition within Sheridan County during the weekend.
Sheridan:
The Lady Broncs started 4A NE Quadrant play on Friday with a home win vs. Natrona 3-1 (15-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-18).
On Saturday they lost at home vs. Cody 3-0 (28-26 25-13, 25-16).
Sheridan is 6-6 on the season with a 1-0 record in the 4A Northeast.
They are next scheduled to play on Friday, September 15th at home vs. Thunder Basin, and on Saturday, September 16th at Campbell County.
Big Horn:
The Lady Rams went 5-0-1 and won their own Invitational.
On Friday, BH defeated Shoshoni 2-0 (25-20, 25-15), and Burns 2-0 (25-18, 25-18), then tied 1A Upton 1-1 (23-25, 26-24).
Big Horn ended up in the gold bracket on Saturday where they defeated Lingle-Ft. Laramie 2-0 (25-19, 25-11), 1A Riverside (unknown scores) and Greybull 2-1 (23-25, 25-16, 15-8).
The Lady Rams are 12-5-1 on the season and are next scheduled to play Friday at home vs. Wright and on Saturday at home vs. 3A Thermopolis.
Tongue River:
The Lady Eagles went 2-2-2 at the Big Horn Invitational.
On Friday, TR tied 1A Riverside 1-1 (25-26, 25-9) and tied Pine Bluffs 1-1 (19-25, 25-23), then defeated Big Piney 2-0 (25-13, 25-9)
Tongue River ended up in the gold bracket on Saturday, where they first lost vs. 1A Upton 2-0 (25-23, 25-17), then defeated Rocky Mountain 2-0 (25-15, 25-16) and then lost a non-quadrant match vs. Sundance 2-1 (24-26, 25-17, 15-11).
The Lady Eagles are 8-5-4 on the season and have no games scheduled next week.
Arvada-Clearmont:
The Lady Panthers lost at home on Thursday vs. Buffalo’s JV 3-2 (23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-10).
A-C’s record is 0-4 on the season, with an 0-2 record in the 1A Northeast.
They are next scheduled to play on Friday, September 15th at Kaycee, and on Saturday, September 16th at home vs. Hulett.
