State Soccer and Track and Field Get Underway Thursday / Troopers Have two big Double Headers This Weekend

STATE SOCCER – The Bronc and Lady Bronc soccer teams have qualified for the Wyoming state soccer championships which begin Thursday in Cheyenne.

The Lady Broncs open with Jackson at 2:00 pm while the Broncs open with Star Valley and 11:00 am.

STATE TRACK – The three day Wyoming state track and field championships get underway Thursday in Casper.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers get back on the field Saturday with a road double header at Casper, they come back Sunday with a home double header with the Billings Scarlets.

They split an early double header with the Scarlets and Head coach Ben Phillips says they expect another good double header at Thorne-Rider Sunday.

The Troopers are 9-2 on the season and Phillips says the pitching staff has looked good in the opening three weeks of the season.
