Weekend Local Sports Wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER – The Lady Bronc soccer team split matches in Cheyenne they beat Cheyenne Central 1-0 and lost 3-0 at East on Saturday, today the Lady Broncs will play a make up date with Cheyenne South the teams will meet and play in Casper.

Tomorrow they will play a road game at Campbell county.

The Broncs also split their matches with East and Central, they beat East 2-1 and lost against Central 2-1 tomorrow the Broncs host Campbell country games times are at 4 and 6 at Homer Scott stadium.

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers swept all four weekend games at Spearfish, South Dakota Saturday they won 13-1 and 14-1 on Sunday they took two from Bozeman, Montana winning 10-0 and 13-9.

Head coach Ben Phillips says it was a tough weekend to play in poor weather but they were able to battle through and win all four games.

Sunday the players did exactly what they had to do to pick up two victories.

And the pitching staff did a pretty good job throwing in the cold, rain and wind.

TRACK – The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will compete this week on Thursday at meet in Cody.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will tee it up Thursday in Casper.

TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc spring tennis players will host matches Thursday with Campbell county and Thunder Basin.
