Private family interment for Joyce Welch, 59-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away early Saturday morning at her home in Buffalo will be held by her family at a later date. Donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Animal Shelter at 109 Flatiron Drive in Buffalo, Wyoming 82834.  Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com.

Joyce Marie Welch was born on March 27, 1966, in Torrence, California to Roy and Alice Vinson.  As a young girl she moved with her family to Casper where she grew up and went to school and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School with the class of 1984.  After high school, she got married and started her family in Casper. In 1986 after the birth of her son she moved to Pottstown, Pennsylvania and in 1988 she moved back to Wyoming and settled in Buffalo where her daughter was born. Joyce worked at various cleaning jobs and detailed cars for Ed Foust and Tim Baumgartner.  In August 2009 she met Frank Renegar, and they shared their lives in Buffalo until the time of her death.

Joyce was known as a very hard worker and a passionate parent.  She was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed Nascar. She is survived by her partner Frank Renegar of Buffalo; one son, John Welch and his partner Beth Strandwitz of Buffalo; one daughter Josie Welch of Casper, Wyoming; two sisters, Lanora Bradley and her husband Joe of Bullhead City, Arizona and Tammy Case of Casper; one grandson, Jackson Stanger of Casper, two nieces and one nephew.  She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother.
