Council Awards Bid for Chip Seal Project

Hardrives Construction out of Billings, Montana will be handling this year’s chip seal project for the City of Sheridan. The City Council approved the bid award at their meeting Tuesday night in the amount of $184,500. City Engineer Hanns Mercer says the bid was inline with the estimated cost of the project.

Mercer said the project includes approximately 27,600 square yards of single chip and 20,400 square yards of double chip on various streets throughout the City. The bid from Hardrives Construction was the only bid the City received for the project.
