A memorandum of understanding between the City of Sheridan and two downtown businesses received approval by the City Council at their meeting this week. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The City Council last month approved an agreement to allow City staff to work with the Mint Bar and Bighorn Design on improving the alleyway that runs between the two businesses. Monday night, the Council approved a memorandum of understanding between the City and the two businesses that will allow for improvements to Smith Alley east. City Engineer Hanns Mercer.
Mercer said the agreement essentially closes the alley to vehicular traffic.
Mercer said the intent of the parties involved is to have the work completed before the start of this year’s Sheridan WYO Rodeo.
