Staff with the City of Sheridan will continue to work with business owners adjacent to Smith Alley east on ways the alleyway can be improved and benefit all parties involved. The City Council at their meeting this week, approved the Smith Alley East agreement. City Engineer Hanns Mercer.
Mercer said the property owners are requesting that the alley be closed to vehicular traffic.
Mercer said future considerations for the alley may include a property lease similar to the one that’s in place for Smith Alley West.
