Sheridan Woman Arraigned for Drug Distribution Charges

An arraignment hearing for 60-year-old Anneliese Panasenko of Sheridan was held this week in Fourth Judicial District Court. Panasenko in November of last year, was arrested and charged with two felonies; Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Minor- Marijuana, and Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver- Marijuana. Panasenko pleaded “not guilty” to both of the charges at the arraignment hearing.
District Court Judge John Fenn scheduled the four-day jury trial to begin on May 24 and set a pretrial conference for April 15 at 10 am. Bond was continued under the same terms and conditions that were previously set in Circuit Court. If convicted on both counts, Panasenko faces up to 30 years in prison and fines of up to $20,000.
