COVID-19 Numbers as of 3 p.m. Sept. 28
The Wyoming Department of Health reports the state has had 4,897 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 312 in 72 hours and 50 deaths in the state resulting from COVID-19.
Fremont County has the most cases of any county in the state with 644 confirmed cases and 14 deaths, according to the WDH.
Sheridan County has a total of 222 Lab Confirmed Positive Cases, an increase of 22, within the last 72 hours. The WHD is reporting a total of 70 active lab confirmed cases in the county, 70 probable cases in Sheridan County and 208 cases recovered – including probable cases. Sheridan County has experienced 4 deaths related to the virus.
Johnson County has 27 confirmed cases, 5 active lab confirmed cases and 9 probable cases. The WHD reports Johnson County has 28 cases recovered and has experienced 1 death resulting from the coronavirus.
