Ron RichterA virtual arraignment hearing was held Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court for a Sheridan man charged with allegedly possessing child pornography. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
33-year-old Kyle Reuter of Sheridan entered a plea of “not guilty” to the charge of Sexual Exploitation of Children- Possession of Child Pornography. Reuter was arrested August 2nd by officers with the Sheridan Police Department for having child pornography on his cellular phone. District Court Judge John Fenn set the three-day trial to begin on Monday, February 8 of next year and scheduled the pretrial conference for January 7 at 10:30 am.
Due to the fact that Reuter convicted of possessing child pornography in September of 2010, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of not less than 7 years and not more than 12 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 if convicted on the current charge.

3 strike’s and your out….but these type of criminals should be out after 1. I dont feel like supporting perverts like this and other perps with better health care,libraries, housing,food than some vets and other law abiding individuals.
