Phorge Makerspace to Host Grand Reopening Aug. 23

Phorge Makerspace is celebrating its Grand Reopening on Saturday, Aug. 23, and the community is invited.

Board President Clint Stussi and Shop Manager Sam Neises joined Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to share the news and invite residents to explore the expanded makerspace.

In 2023, Phorge received funding through the Wyoming Innovation Partnership Grant via Sheridan College. The award enabled a move to a larger location at 1205 Broadway St., Suite 3, and significant expansion of its facilities. The new shop now includes both clean and dirty workspaces, featuring a fully equipped metal shop.

Stussi said the day will also serve as a tribute to one of Phorge’s foundational figures.

The Grand Reopening begins at 9 a.m. with shop tours and hands-on activities. Food will be served starting at 4 p.m.
