Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Announces Teresa Detimore as CEO

Following a thorough application and interview process, the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce announced the hiring of longtime Chamber employee Teresa Detimore as the organization’s new CEO, effective February 1, 2025. Detimore said that she has a passion for the business community and the work that the Chamber is doing.

Detimore said that she looks forward to continuing to make Sheridan the best community in Wyoming.

Before joining the Chamber, Detimore was the coordinator of area public relations and an administrative assistant for the University of Wyoming Alumni Association for almost four years and prior to that worked in the hotel industry in Iowa. Detimore will fill the role that opened following the resignation of former CEO Dixie Johnson, who served as CEO for 14 years.
